Step By Step directions for Posting a Job


  • When posting your job through the WTCS Job Posting System please follow these steps:

    1. Register to use the system

    2. When registration is complete and you have been assigned a User Name and Password you can begin to post your position openings.

    3. First time posting:

      1. Login through Employer Login Screen to access your individual account
      2. Choose Add a Job
      3. Select a Category from the list shown
      4. Select a Subcategory from the list shown
      5. Enter Job Information – Submit Form
      6. Select desired college(s) from list given to receive your job


        The WTCS Job Posting System automatically conducts a search of all the Wisconsin Technical Colleges that offer the program(s) that most directly pertains to the category and subcategory you selected earlier. Based on the results of the search, you may select one or more of the colleges listed to forward your job posting to.

      7. Post another job or quit the system

    4. Future postings:

      1. Login through the Employer Login Screen to access your individual account

      2. Choose from the following options:
        1. Select a previously posted job from your list of Active Jobs to edit
        2. View your Inactive Job list from which you may edit
        3. Add a new job
        4. View/Edit your Employer Information
        5. View/Edit your Contact Information

  • If your job does not fall into one of the categories offered by the WTCS, please select one of the Classified/Miscellaneous categories on the Job Category page.

  • A new job order must be submitted for each different job title.

  • When a job is entered into the WTCS Job Posting System, it is saved and can be recalled for up to 12 months for re-posting and/or modifications.

  • Individuals attend a WTC to pursue an occupational degree that relates to their future employment. We encourage your job posting be related to at least one of the occupational degree programs offered by the WTCS, but it is not required.
